Bryan has been president of CAS since 2017 when he took over the role after serving several years as 1st Vice president and several more years prior as a trustee. Bryan currentlyalso serves as Chair of the PR and Membership committees. Bryan participates with telescope trainings as well as helping develop members’ skills as amateur astronomers. He is heavily involved in public outreach, and has the Master Outreach Award from the Astronomical League.

In his vocational life Bryan is a creative professional in Cincinnati having spent time as an art director, designer,and digital artist for several ad and branding agencies around the city.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from DAAP at The University of Cincinnati in 1993. Bryan uses his creative skills developing visual materials for CAS marketing and educational activities, as well as principal content creator for CAS’ social media accounts in his duties as PR Chair. He also manages the design and content for the Society’s website.

Bryan joined CAS in 2012 and is a Lifetime Member of CAS.
