Welcome to ALCON 2026 Cincinnati
We would like to welcome you and tell you a little about what we have in store as we host this year’s conference.
A Fun and Dynamic Conference Awaits
The conference this year is being hosted by the Cincinnati Astronomical Society, one of the nation’s oldest and largest amateur astronomy organizations.
To learn more about CAS visit our About CAS page.
We have been busy preparing a fantastic conference for you, and are excited to be bringing ALCON back to the Great Lakes region for the first time in over 25 years, on this 80th anniversary of The Astronomical League, and 115th anniversary of the founding of CAS.
Please read through the pages of this site first to learn about the conference schedule, the speakers, the special events and everything we have planned prior to moving on to the registration page.
We have a great lineup of speakers set up for you, as well as fun social activities and an opportunity to get out of the conference room and explore on Friday afternoon. This will be a fun and dynamic conference for all our guests. And as a bonus we will be holding an ALCON afterparty on Sunday following the conference at The Moeller Observatory, a new research-class private observatory complex in Southern Ohio.
We are looking forward to seeing you all in Cincinnati this August for what will be a great conference for all who attend.
See you soon
